The Hunt
The treasure hunt will take place just on the fringes of Romsey, the picturesque Hampshire market town close to Broadlands, the former home of Lord Louis Mountbatten. Meeting at the Cromwell Arms the treasure hunt will be approximately 2 hours of walking in the pleasant local countryside to find the hidden clues.
As all good treasure hunters know the perfect way to end a hunt and replenish brain power is a lovely, freshly cooked pub lunch. The Cromwell Arms has an excellent reputation for high quality foods owned by an award winning sommelier Mark Walter and his wife Helen. The gastro style pub derives its name from Romseys links with the English Civil war and was influenced by a battle that took place on the bridge close to the restaurant between Cromwells roundheads and those loyal to the King.
